• Experience Terror: Exclusive Jaws Screening Lets Fans Watch While Floating in the Original Filming Waters (hypefresh.com) — Vineyard Haven will host a Jaws screening on July 11 at Owen Park Beach, where fans can watch from the very waters used in the film. Free registered admission and $250 VIP packages include shuttles from the high school, local food and drinks, and limited in-water viewing, making this a marquee summer event for residents and visitors alike. 
• Man charged with attempted murder after alleged Tisbury knife attack (mvtimes.com) — Vineyard Haven residents should know that Tisbury Police arrested a 38-year-old man after an alleged knife attack at a Cook Road home, charging him with attempted murder and other violent felonies. The female victim was hospitalized on Martha’s Vineyard with serious but stable injuries, and the suspect is being held ahead of arraignment in Edgartown District Court.
• Federal Blizzard Relief Available to Island Businesses (vineyardgazette.com) — If your Vineyard Haven business is still hurting from February’s blizzard, new low-interest federal SBA disaster loans are now available to help cover lost revenue and keep doors open. Assistance is being offered this week at the Oak Bluffs library, and Island business owners can also apply online or by phone for loans up to $2 million with deferred payments.
