$1 Million Scratch-Off Winner Sold In Wakefield: Mass Lottery

WAKEFIELD, MA — A $1 million Mass Lottery prize was sold recently in Wakefield. The lucky ticket was purchased Tuesday in the Billion Dollar Extravaganza game.

The Billion Dollar Extravaganza ticket is the most expensive scratch-off in the lottery, going for $50 a pop.

The $1 million prize can be split up into $50,ooo annually for 20 years or a $650,000 lump sum payment. The odds of winning the prize are 1 in 2,016,000.

There are still three remaining top prizes of $25 million in the Billion Dollar Extravaganza game.

A $1 million scratch-off winner in the $10,000,000 Premier Cash game was sold at a Mobil station in Andover on Monday as well.
