Today in Wakefield Sports - It's a big day for the Wakefield boys varsity hockey team, which plays Chelmsford in the MIAA Division I North semi-final at 5:10 p.m. at the Chelmsford Forum, in Billerica , MA. If you can't make it to the game, you're going to want to drop by Wakefeld Patch because we'll be live-blogging the event for all the Warriors fans who can't make it. 3. Poll Results: Romney netted 1847 votes, or 78 percent of the vote. Candidate Rick Santorum won 229 votes, or 9 percent, Ron Paul won 169 or 7 percent, and Newt Gingrich won 84 votes, or 3 percent of the vote. .

4. Learn from a successful couponer - If you've ever seen those "Extreme Couponing" shows, fear not: Jamie Chase, author of “The Lazy Couponer,” isn't one of them. Chase will be presenting her method for getting extreme coupon deals without taking it to extremes at 6:30 p.m. at the Beebe Library. Chase is a family economics expert with a degree business management and a background in retail management. During this program she will reveal her thrifty secrets and show how to save money and time. 5. Finalize a paver -The World War II Committee will be holding open hours today from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for anyone who wants to contribute a paver to the Veterans’ Walk of Remembrance. If you've already contributed a paver but stil need help completing the inscription, you may also stop by. The paver can be contributed in honor of, or in memory of, any veteran who has served or is currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. The individual does not have to be a resident of Wakefield. Pavers are either $300 or $500.
