5 Things: Wakefield's Massone up for Voting on 'The Voice'

2. Today in Wakefield sports - Boys and girls varsity track take on Watertown today at 3:30 p.m. with the boys @ Watertown and the girls at home. Boys varsity baseball and girls varsity softball play Arlington High at 3:45 p.m. @ Arlington, and boys varsity lacross plays Marblehead at 4 p.m. at home.
3. Massone's up for voting - Wakefield resident James Massone is up for voting today for his performance last night on "The Voice." To vote, you can use the following methods up to 10 times each: phone, text, online or you can buy the performance on iTunes, which also counts as a vote. To vote by phone or text, use this list of numbers. To vote online, visit NBC.com, or the NBC Live app, the NBC app, or via Facebook. To find out the results, watch tonight at 9 p.m. If Massone finishes top three on his team he'll make it to the next round, if he finishes in the bottom three he'll have to perform for a chance to convince his coach to keep him in the competition.

4. A "Galvinize" fundraiser - If you dine at Kelly's Roast Beef in Saugus tonight from 5-8 p.m., 15 percent of your check will go towards the Galvinize Wakefield community group to help pay for promotional materials to raise awareness of the Galvin Middle School project. Galvinize Wakefield is a non-profit group with a mission to inform the Wakefield community on the objectives, project plans, and benefits of the Galvin Middle School Project. A voucher needs be printed and given to your server. .
5. Spring training - If you're looking for a way to dance yourself to fitness, check out Jacki Sorensen's Areobic Dancing schedule. It's a one-hour fitness class designed for both dancers and non-dancers. Each class includes a warmup, stretching, strength, cardio, and a cooldown. Classes started on Monday, April 9th, and run on Mondays at 6 and 7:15 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9 a.m. and Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m.
