5 Things: Spring Fling for Walton, Comedy Night for Boys and Girls Club
Five things worth knowing today, March 30, 2012, in Wakefield, MA.

1. Spring Fling - If it's a chance to get your boogie on with a live DJ that you're looking for tonight, the West Side Social Club is hosting the annual Walton Elementary School Spring Fling. Besides the dancing, there will be a music trivia game, a silent auction, raffles for great prizes and a cash bar. All proceeds will go to the Walton School PTO. Tickets are $10 each.
2. Laugh it up - Join in for a night of comedy to support a Wakefield branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham. The show starts tonight at 6 p.m. at 20 Howley St. in Peabody with food, drink, and live music. There will be several raffles, a silent auction and a live auction. And to top it all off, comedians Lenny Clarke, Tony V, and their group of entertainers will perform. Tickets are $40 each.
What's up for this weekend - Besides the events already mentioned on Friday night, there's also KidSing's Rock & Roll Forever in Reading at 7 p.m.

On Saturday there's the Wakefield UU Church Annual Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield, there's LEGO Day at the First Parish Congregational Church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.and in Medford, there's a Friends of the Middlesex Fells Reservation - Restoration Hike along Crystal Spring Road at 10 a.m. And at night, there's Peggy Seeger at the Linden Tree Coffee House at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield hosts a Jesus Christ Superstar Sing Along at 7 p.m.

4. Today in Wakefield sports - Girls varsity lacrosse will play Arlington at 5 p.m. at home, and boys varsity lacrosse will play Arlington at 5:30 p.m. @ Arlington.
5. Sun returns - Today will be sunny with a high near 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
