Wakefield Native Comedian Paul D'Angelo To Perform at Shamrock Gala

Wakefield’s very own nationally acclaimed comedian Paul (Murphy) D’Angelo will be performing at the Shamrock Gala on Sunday, March 18th, at the Sheraton North Hotel. Paul will be part of a great afternoon event sponsored by the Event Planning Committee.

The event will start at 2 p.m. with Tom Monte, Impersonator performing all time favorite tunes. At 2:45, Dorothea’s Middle Eastern Dance Troupe will perform, and at 3 p.m. five local merchants will present a  Fashion Show featuring the latest looks for spring including clothing, jewelry, pocketbooks, prom gowns, wedding gowns, mother-of-the-bride dresses and lingerie.  Fashions modeled by local residents. 

For your added enjoyment, we have not forgotten the men.  We have created “The Man Cave” where men and women can watch one of the final four games, play blackjack or poker with non-monetary prizes, and be entertained.

For refreshments, we have a dessert table and snacks. There will be two cash bars set up for beverage. During and after the Fashion Show we will be raffling off many items and a door prize.
