The Winner
Opened in December of 2010, the cafe serves a full range of breakfast, lunch and dinner foods, with an emphasis put on local and organic ingredients. The menu is a mix of classic American, Irish, Italian and Moroccan foods with a full range of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and sides.

Owner Dawn Beebe said the cafe's most popular choices are many.
"A lot of people like the Chicken Caprese sandwich, which is organic natural chicken, with homemade pesto, tomato, fresh mozzarella and organic mixed greens on white, wheat, cheese or onion bread," she said. "Another favorite is the fresh roasted turkey with fig jam, blue cheese, apples and organic mixed greens on whole grain Panini."
ZuZu's offers a soup and sandwich special each day, a combination they post on their website. Today's specials, for example, are broccolli and cheddar soup with a BLT.

"Picking the "best" sandwich place in Wakefield is, at best, a futile exercise because our town has so many great places to get a good sandwich," commented reader John Delvin. "Having said that, I'll pick Slice Pizza & More as my current favorite. Their selection is limited, but the ingredients and preparation are both consistently top notch," he said.
