Join MAAV & Community at Melrose Middle School for the 31st Annual Walk to End Domestic Violence
Join the Melrose Alliance Against Violence (MAAV) on Sunday, October 25th for our 31st Annual Walk to End Domestic Violence: The Strength of Us.
Event Schedule:
- 2:00 PM | Pre-Walk Community Stations: Gather in the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School foyer and cafeteria for interactive reflection activities, team meetups, sign-making, and partner information tables.
- 2:45 PM | Remarks & Performance: Gather in the auditorium for a short community program featuring a live performance by the Melrose High School A Cappella group.
- 3:00 PM | Honor Line & Community Walk: Led by MAAV's Student Action Board, participants will pass through an Honor Line—comprised of special guests holding the names of Massachusetts domestic violence homicide victims lost this year—to begin the two-mile walk through Melrose.

Community members can register to walk, form or join a team, make a donation, become an event sponsor, or sign up to volunteer at maav.org/2026walk. Pre-registered participants are automatically entered into an exclusive Registration Raffle!
