Communitas CommUNITY Walk 2023

Communitas is excited to announce the 6th Annual CommUNITY Walk, taking place on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 from 10a-1p at Wakefield's picturesque Lake Quannapowitt at the Bandstand. The CommUNITY Walk is an opportunity to raise awareness about Communitas and to raise funds for the organization's mission. The event is also a chance for community members to come together and reconnect after a long time apart. The registration for the event is free, and we invite everyone to join us for this family-friendly and pet-friendly event.

The CommUNITY Walk offers you the option to take a short stroll or power through the entire 5K around the lake. You can walk as a team, or with your family and friends. There is also an opportunity to win an award for the Best Team Costume, as well as participate in our very first Pet Parade, sponsored by DogWatch. Additionally, DJ Kevin Sullivan, who is famed for pumping up the party for Residential and Recreation events, will be joining us for a Dance Party.

Participants who register by May 10th will receive a free t-shirt. We're thrilled to bring back the CommUNITY Walk after a long hiatus. This event is an important opportunity for us to raise awareness about the work we do at Communitas and to bring our community together after a difficult time. We can't wait to see everyone at Lake Quannapowitt in June!
