Details Available For Easter Egg Hunt In Wakefield

The event is coming up this weekend.

WAKEFIELD, MA — The spring Egg Hunt will be Saturday, March 28.

The event is "weather permitting, meaning no torrential rains or nor'easter," on Wakefield's Lower Common between the Lake and Church streets, according to a Facebook post from the Wakefield Center Neighborhood Association.

The event Designed for children ages 7 or younger, with separate areas for different ages.

Chocolate-wrapped eggs will be tossed into freshly spread hay for them to find. The hunt begins at 10 a.m. and essentially ends within 10 minutes, so organizers said to come early.

Attendees should bring a basket or bag for candy.

The Easter Bunny will be available for photos after the hunt.
