Every year, the West Side Social Club 4th of July Committee begins the planning for the July Fourth Celebration with selecting an “Honoree”. This year, the committee is proud to announce Paul DiNocco as the 2013 Honoree for the day long festivities planned on the fourth!
Paul was born in Winthrop to Sabatino (Ben) and Ann DiNocco. He has three siblings, a sister Marcia, and two brothers, Stephen and John. He currently lives locally here in Wakefield.
Paul attended St. Lazarus Grammar School in East Boston. He is a 1975 graduate of St. Dominic Savio Prep School. He attended evening classes in the late 1980’s at Bunker Hill Community College studying Computer Science.

Past work experience includes working the past 34 years on the Commuter Rail Equipment, starting back in 1979. He is currently an Electrical HVAC Technician
Paul married Paula Mendes in 1981. They have a son, Nicholas

Many know Paul, as he is a four time elected official for the Town of Wakefield, twice as a Planning Board Member and twice as a Selectman. He presently chairs to Economic Development Committee for the Wakefield Board of Selectman. He also is very active as a chairperson for the Event Planning Committee who provides the Shamrock Festival, Festival Italia, and the Holiday Stroll. He is director on the Chamber of Commerce, Civic Center Director and a Liaison to the Beebe Library.
