Five Wishes

The minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield, Reverend Maddie Sifantus, will offer an evening workshop on Sunday, January 22 at 7:00 PM on the document Five Wishes published by the organization Aging With Dignity. The meeting will take place in the Social Hall downstairs from the sanctuary located at 326 Main Street. Five Wishes is an advance directive combining a Living Will and assigning a Health Care Agent, which is user friendly, written in lay persons terms. We will explore end of life issues and look at how to fill out the document, which will be available to each participant. The workshop is open to all and everyone is encouraged to attend, since we are ALL aging and we never know what can happen in the blink of an eye. Having your doctors, family, friends, or Pastor know what your wishes are at the end of life or in an emergency is one of the greatest gifts you can give them. A $2 donation to the church is asked to help defray the cost of materials. For more information, call Reverend Maddie Sifantus at 781-245-4632 or email minister@wakefielduu.org.
