Free Bully Buster Program held at the Beebe Library

Now more than ever we need to educate our children on how to deal with bullies!  In this comprehensive Bully Buster program, Sensei Rick Alford will teach kids effective methods of dealing with bullies without having to resort to violence.  He’ll discuss techniques that can be used to make them be less likely to be targeted, as well as the importance of valuing differences among other kids.

Common sense before physical self defense.  When kids learn our self protection techniques, they become more confident. Using verbal tactics such as humor, reasoning, and yelling, as well as knowing when to involve an adult, are all important tools when it comes to dealing with Bullies.  However, sometimes a physical confrontational is unavoidable. Sensei Rick will also teach practical physical self protection skills that will enable them protect themselves if a physical confrontation is unavoidable.
