The Galvin Middle School Science Club will host its third annual Trivia Night on October 19th at the Elks Lodge in Lynnfield. This is an adult event organized to raise funds for the Science Club. The cost is $20 per person and teams my be comprised of up to eight people at a table. A cash prize is awarded to the winning team. Join us for a fun night out with friends filled with laughs and interesting trivia to help support the students at the middle school. Funds raised at this event will help defray the cost of building projects and lab materials. The Galvin Middle School Science Club competes against schools across Massachusetts in 23 events in life science, physical science, engineering and chemistry. The students work very hard from October to March preparing for the state-wide competition. The Galvin Middle School team placed 2nd in the state at Science Olympiad competition last spring.
