Justin's Climb 2011 is a fundraising event for the Justin Leo Marshall Scholarship Foundation.  This event combines Justin's passion for hiking and his love of community.

On Saturday, August 20th, teams will meet at the Boston Sports Club in Lynnfield, MA to "race to the top" of our own Mount Everest (29,029 ft).

Teams will climb for one hour each, on a stationary machine.  Each climber's machine will be set to a specific incline, but climbers will race at their own pace as we collectively work towards the goal of climbing Mt. Everest.

A Post-Climb Celebration will be held at 41 Eunice Circle, in Wakefield, MA from 12 to 8pm.  The Post-Climb Celebration will include an awards ceremony, raffles, games, food and beverages.

We are accepting local corporate sponsorship for the Climb, the Celebration, and the entire Event.

We also welcome donations towards the Event Prizes and Raffles.

About the JUSTIN L. MARSHALL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

The Justin Leo Marshall Scholarship Foundation is a memorial foundation established in honor of our friend Justin. Through donations and annual fundraising events, we aim to raise money for the scholarship fund in Justin's name: the Justin Leo Marshall Scholarship Fund.

The JLM Scholarship Fund is an endowment fund setup through the Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield, Inc. Since 1960, CSF of Wakefield has helped nearly 8,000 Wakefield students obtain a higher education. The Justin Leo Marshall Scholarship Fund will continue to provide scholarships into perpetuity, every year, giving another Wakefield student the opportunity to pursue their educational goals as Justin did.

Justin was an exceptional person whose life touched the lives of so many. Although his life was tragically cut short at the age of thirty, Justin lived his thirty years well. He lived with love and passion for life. He was an outdoors enthusiast, enjoyed hiking, traveling, sports and concerts, and spending time with his family and friends. Justin was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He was a great boyfriend and best friend. He was an exceptional student, coach, volunteer, teammate and leader.

Justin is well remembered for his intelligence, compassion, and ability to make others laugh. He is also well remembered for his focus, determination, and devotion to higher learning.
