The Saugus River Watershed Council and the National Park Service will host their annual picnic and children's festival at the Saugus Iron Works on Wednesday, June 27th from 6:00 p.m. to dusk. This free event will include live acoustic music by "Kirsten and Dave", children's art contest, balloons, face painting, and a variety of games and hands-on environmental activities for the whole family. Bring a picnic dinner and blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy a relaxing evening at the Iron Works. Complimentary drinks and dessert will be provided.
