The Floral Way Festival

Wakefield Garden Club’s (WGC) Annual Floral Way will be held on Saturday, May 19 from 9am  to 2pm.

The members will hold an open Plant Sale on the front lawn of the Hartshorne House.  Available will be perenials, annuals, a green elephant table along with the World Famous "WGC Gardening Gloves."  This is the main Garden Club fundraiser for the year which supports the club's civic betterment projects.

The Floral Way is a living memorial to our soldiers who fought in any war.  The planting of the flowering trees at the base of Lake Quanapowitt between the First Congregational Church and the historic Hartshorne House was initiated in 1948 by the Wakefield Garden Club.
