Five Decades Ago, Local Law Enforcement Went to Washington

In this week's look at the town's past using items found for sale on eBay, we have a photo from May of 1966 when then-Police Chief J. Merritt Wenzel and Lt. William L. Connors traveled to Washington for graduation at the FBI National Academy. In this picture, the two are shown with famed FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and the Vice President of the U.S., Hubert Humphrey.
