Give Some Blood For Boston Children's Hospital This Week

Hello and Thank You all,
I would like to thank every one of you because if you are receiving this letter from me then it means that at least one time you have come down to donate a pint of blood at our Blood drive for Boston Children’s Hospital at the West Side Social Club here in Wakefield, MA. Do you know how important your blood donation was to a child and their family?

Your donation of a pint of blood is the beginning of many miracles that have happened at Boston Children’s Hospital. Without people like you taking a little time out of your day, many of these miracles would never happened saving many children and keeping their families whole. Whole blood donations are the foundation on which a Surgeon can start such miraculous surgeries such as an organ transplant. Whole blood is needed when a child comes in from an accident and needs life saving emergency surgery to save their lives.

Children need blood transfusions to fight many diseases such as cancer and aggressive forms of anemia. These children have not shot at winning their fight without your blood donations. Parents would be shedding tears of sadness instead of JOY if no one would have taken the time to donate a pint of Blood to Boston Children’s Hospital.

This is why I thank you personally for saving my daughter Ashley and the many children treated every day at Boston Children’s Hospital. Your Blood Donation is the start of many Miracles.

By donating directly to Boston Children’s Hospital you will save the hospital the cost of purchasing blood from a Blood Bank and your donation could help up to FOUR CHILDREN. Thank you for taking the Time out to Donate then and now. The Blood Donated will be used at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Jimmy Fund Clinic and is collected in the memory of Christopher Barnes and in honor of Ashley Cashell, Jessica Downing, Scottie Einarson, Milana Rufo.

March: Wednesday the 6th and Thursday the 7th from 1 PM to 7:30 PM both Days

May: Wednesday the 8th and Thursday the 9th from 1 PM to 7:30 PM both Days

August: Wednesday the 7th and Thursday the 8th from 1 PM to 7:30 PM both Days

October: Wednesday the 16th and Thursday the 17th from 1 PM to 7:30 PM both Days
