"During game intermissions (halftime, etc), we will pick random fans to come down to the court to try their luck at some basketball shooting challenges. The selection process will be simple. When fans buy tickets to the game, we rip the tickets and keep the stubs for accounting purposes. Each stub has a number on it that corresponds with their ticket. To randomly choose fans for the contest, we will simply reach into the bucket of ticket stubs and pull one. If your ticket stub gets pulled, you get a chance to come down to the court and shoot for the TV. There is no additional purchase necessary.
"All you have to do is come out to the game, and you will automatically be entered into the contest. If the first contestant does not win, we will keep picking fans each intermission until someone does win. If no one wins during the Melrose game, we will keep the promotion going at every home basketball game until someone does win."
