Home of the Week: The 1795 William Stimpson House
Each week, Wakefield Patch takes a look at a distinctive property currently on the market.

One of the great things about living in New England is that it's possible to own a home that stood two or three centuries ago through some of the most significant events in this nation's history.
In Wakefield, a current example is the William Stimpson House at 22 Prospect Street, which was built in 1795. The three-bedroom Colonial house has hardwood floors and the original ceiling beams (not to mention incredible character) found in homes from that era. Along with being very close to the downtown area, the place boasts a fireplace - as well as the far more modern amenity of a hot tub.
This home is listed by Gibson Sotheby's International Realty, Lea Karamas Irzyk. For property assistance, call Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage at 866-339-6533.
