On Saturday June 15, 2019, the installation of Officers at Golden Rule Lodge of Ancient Free & Accepted Freemasons of Wakefield was held in the lodge located at the Wakefield -Lynnfield Masonic Building, 370 Salem St, Wakefield, MA 01880. The purpose of this ceremony is to install new Officers for the upcoming year. This ceremony dates from the early 1700’s.
Golden Rule Lodge, founded in 1888, has been enriched by The Lodge of Stirling of Malden and Mount Hermon Lodge originally of Medford. Our members take pride in the tradition and history of our Lodge and of Masonry.
Freemasonry is the oldest continuing fraternity in the world. Men such as George Washington, Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin, Harry Truman, and Samuel Crocker Lawrence have all shared the mystic tie of the Masonic Degrees, and the Brotherhood of Freemasonry. Men such as these, and many others through the ages, have shaped the traditions and set the high standards that Freemasons live by today.

Masonic organizations fund significant charities, most notably the Shriners’ Hospitals for Children. However, that is just one of the many charities supported by Masons. Freemasons world-wide donate more than three million dollars to charity each and every day.
Masonry is also a social organization, where we enjoy each other’s company at meetings and dinner each month, and at other social activities and outings. If you have any questions or would like to inquire about becoming a mason, please contact Nate Gayman via email or by visiting the website http://goldenrulelodge.org/
