Lady Warriors Soccer Drops to Wilmington [VIDEO]

Wakefield couldn't cash in on its chances Monday against Wilmington. Then again, the Lady Warriors didn't have many chances to take advantage of.

The host Wildcats controlled the offensive tempo, snagged a first half goal and went on to win 2-0 over Wakefield.

Head coach Janel Stevenson's charges had just one solid chance. With 33:23 left in the first half, Kaitlyn Manning broke free towards the goal.

Wilmington goalie Sarah Luz cut off the angle, dove at Manning's feet and grabbed a hold of the ball. 

The Wildcats added a goal with less than 30 seconds remaining in the game to seal the win.
