Local Business Offering New Skin Care Options

Two area women have brought a new medical laser treatment to Lynnfield, setting up their business space at Venezia Day Spa at Kernwood Plaza on 12 Salem Street, near the Lynnfield/Wakefield line.

Michelle Doran is a Marblehead resident who has been a nurse practitioner since 2001. She has worked in areas such as palliative care and family practices, but in recent years has also worked for a plastic surgeon while gaining various certifications as an esthetician. Her business partner Linda Vecchione is a registered nurse who lives in Peabody.  Before setting up their business in Lynnfield, the two did freelance esthetician work at various spas around the North Shore.

Together, the two women, who are both laser-certified, run the RN Esthetics & Laser Company, sharing space at 12 Salem Street in Lynnfield with Venezia Day Spa.

RN Esthetics & Laser Company features the HydraFacial treatment, a non-laser treatment that infuses different serums into the skin. “I say it’s like the best facial you’ve ever had,” said Doran. “It is a medical-grade facial… It cleans your skin, it medicates, it’s super-hydrating.”

Along with the HydraFacial, the two also reported during a recent conversation with Lynnfield Patch that they are also bringing a medical laser to Salem Street that will do things like hair removal and facials.
