The Wakefield Sons and Daughters of Italy will be celebrating Italian Heritage month in a special way this year. We have arranged for Mary Ann Esposito to speak about her long and exciting career on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the West Side Social Club in Wakefield. The Lodge is pleased to open the event to people in the area – you don’t have to be a member of the Sons & Daughters of Italy to attend.

Mary Ann’s PBS show is the longest-running cooking program on television. She has written numerous cookbooks and, recently, a gardening book as well.

Tickets for An Evening with Mary Ann Esposito are sold out as of 9/19/23.

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Italian cookies will be served, and the WSSC has a cash bar. In honor of Italian Heritage month, we invite anyone attending to bring a jar of spaghetti sauce and/or a box of pasta for the Wakefield Food Pantry.

An Evening with Mary Ann Esposito is one of many fun events the Lodge has planned. Look for our booth at the upcoming Wakefield Town Day on Saturday, October 7. Remember to follow us on Facebook.
