'Much More Than A Coffee Shop': INspire Cafe To Open In Wakefield
The cafe will officially open its doors on Saturday and promises to "raise the bar for what a truly inclusive workplace should look like."
WAKEFIELD, MA – The INspire Cafe will hold its grand opening in Wakefield on Saturday. The 411 Main St. location will serve breakfast and lunch.
“We are all so excited for INspire Cafe to open in our community," Marie Rej, board member of Friends of INspire Cafe and parent of an INspire employee, said in a statement. "INspire is much more than a coffee shop. It’s a welcoming space for individuals of all abilities to come together and create meaningful, inclusive employment opportunities. INspire Cafe is not only going to positively impact the entire community but will also raise the bar for what a truly inclusive workplace should look like."
The cafe’s menu will feature a fresh, scratch-made selection of allergy-friendly treats, smoothies, and both grab-and-go and made-to-order meals. The cafe's options are tailored for restrictive diets and reflect a commitment to community-minded service.

"INspire Cafe is designed to be a place for everyone," according to a statement.
The INspire team has been learning new skills and techniques to prepare for the opening, dedicating the last several weeks to job training in the new space.

“I am most excited about using what I am learning in my college hospitality class to be a great cashier and make customers feel welcome. That is one of my goals for working at INspire," Mia, an INspire Cafe employee, said in a statement.
The cafe has developed in partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of Metro North and partnered with many local businesses to enhance its offerings and menu. These partners include Dean's Beans Organic Coffee, MEM Tea, Smart Fruit Smoothies, Richies's Slush, and Omar's Bistro.
The grand opening will include a ribbon cutting outside the cafe beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1. The cafe will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. The daily cafe hours will be published on the INspire website.
