Superintendent Landers announced on Friday that Wakefield Public Schools has hired a new principal for the Galvin Middle School.

Mr. Mark Bedrosian has been appointed as the new Galvin Middle School Principal.
Bedrosian has been serving as the Dean of Academics at Gloucester High School since 2010. Prior to this role, he was an Assistant Principal at both Gloucester High School and the Ralph B. O’Maley Middle School.
Bedrosian holds administrative licensure from Northeastern University, a Masters of Education in Professional Studies from Salem State College and a Bachelors of Science in Public Administration in the field of Criminal Justice from the University of Lowell.
Beginning his teaching career in 1996, Bedrosian taught both at the middle school and high school level until his first administrative appointment.
