A Night with Mary Ann Esposito Is Sold Out

The Wakefield Sons and Daughters of Italy were overwhelmed by the responses we received from people wanting to join.

The Wakefield Sons and Daughters of Italy were overwhelmed by the response we received from people wanting to join us to hear Mary Ann Esposito, of Ciao Italia television and cookbook fame. The event is sold out, so we will not be selling tickets at the door on October 24th.

We will provide a follow-up article and photos after the event. She makes herself available for gatherings and book signings from time to time. If any organization is interested in booking her, please contact Mary Ann’s manager. Information can be found here.

In other Lodge news, October is Italian Heritage month. We were disappointed that Town Day was rained out because we were looking forward to participating in the day and introducing the Lodge to potential new members. On a positive note, we will be inducting several new members in October. In addition, we are collecting pasta and sauce for the Wakefield Food Pantry at our October meeting and at A Night with Mary Ann Esposito.

Bocce season went through the summer and into the fall this year. The games are good natured fun, but winners always appreciate earning bragging rights.

We do love meeting new people and having new members join and add their personalities, interests and enthusiasm to our Lodge. If you want information about us, contact President Paula at wakefieldosia@gmail.com.
