Nine to be Inducted into Wakefield Memorial High School Hall of Fame
Induction is April 5th at the Sheraton Colonial North.

Nine Wakefield Memorial High School graduates will be inducted into the Wakefield Memorial High School Hall of Fame on Friday, April 5, 2013. Annually, the WMHS Alumni Hall of Fame Committee seeks nominations for this prestigious appointment. After careful review of the nominations received, the committee chooses a nominee from each category.
The Wakefield Memorial High School Alumni Hall of Fame Committee is honored to induct the following alumni:
Richard Stinson, Class of 1977, Government; Dr. Ernest Edward Tyzzer, Class of 1893, Sciences; Valerie Giglio-Samson, Class of 1990, Arts; William Fowler, Jr., Class of 1962, Education; Ann (Chisholm) Hadley, Class of 1971, Business; Fire Chief Michael Sullivan, Class of 1981, Special Achievement; Brooke Naylor, Class of 2004, Military; Robert Eldridge, Class of 1958 and Merilyn Erickson Eldridge, Class of 1959, Community Service.
The nine inductees will be honored at a ceremony to be held at the Sheraton Colonial North on Friday, April 5. A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and awards ceremony at 7 p.m. Dr. Kimberly Smith, Wakefield Memorial High School Principal will serve as Mistress of Ceremony. Tickets are $40 and are available at the Superintendent’s Office, Wakefield High School Office or through our website www.whsalumnifoundation.org where you can purchase tickets via Paypal. Tickets for this event are limited. Don’t miss out, buy your tickets early. No tickets will be sold at the door.
The event proves to be a very special evening. All those who attend leave the ceremony in awe of not only the inductees’ accomplishments, but their story. Each graduate speaks about their chosen career after leaving Wakefield Memorial High School; but more importantly, how their family, friends, education, school community and the Town of Wakefield that surrounded them during their days at the high school impacted their personal and professional life.

Permanent plaques commemorating each Hall of Fame inductee will be displayed in the Alumni Hall of Fame Corridor at Wakefield Memorial High School.
