Salem
Big news — Salem is getting a fish market! When I moved to Salem in December, I was surprised that the nearest one was the excellent Cherry Street Fish Market in Danvers. The new spot, a combination market/restaurant, will be an outpost of Turner's in Melrose. The Turners will be in the old 43 Church space downtown.
This is also something of a Danvers story, since Turner's had been eyeing a parcel off 128 before deciding to go for the Salem location.

North Andover
The last handful of Brigham's Restaurants, including the one in North Andover, will be changing their names. The change, which had already happened at most former Brigham's Ice Cream restaurants, is tied to a corporate decision to stop selling three-gallon tubs of ice cream.
Beverly
Have you been to the revamped Wild Horse yet? The comfort food/beer mecca did a complete renovation of the interior. Here are the details.
Danvers
Recently-opened Castiello's Bakery aims to "bring the North End to the North Shore."
Marblehead
Speaking of bakeries, a new one is slated to open in June on Washington Street. One of Orchard Street Bakery's founders is pastry chef Rob Fitzhenry, whose resume includes stints in New York and Paris.
