What was once beautiful and alive is today a dried-out fire hazard. So what's a Wakefield resident to do with your Christmas Tree?

The town is providing curbside disposal of trees starting Jan. 7. The pickups will occur on residents’ scheduled recycling days. You're asked to remove tree stands, lights, and ornaments. Trees placed in bags will not be picked up.
