PHOTO: Former Red Sox Support The Angel Fund

Former Red Sox players (seated, from left to right) Lou Merloni, honorary chair of The Angel Fund; Mike Timlin, honorary director of The Angel Fund; and Tim Wakefield signed autographs for the thousands of runners, walkers and friends who attended the 9^th Annual Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Road Race to Cure ALS held recently in Hopkinton. Joining them are many of the volunteers who were instrumental in the success of the race and family fun day held in memory of Sharon Timlin.  Proceeds from the event benefit The Angel Fund and its research at the Cecil B. Day Laboratory for Neuromuscular Research at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
