Police: Career Sabotage; Iguana Bite

Monday, August 24
At 10:23 a.m., there was a call for medical aid on Main Street for a worker who lost his finger due to an iguana bite.
At 4 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Franklin Street and suffered a minor injury.

At 8:34 p.m., a bicycle was reported stolen on Edmunds Place.
At 9:35 p.m., police arrested Michael Foley, 19, of 53 Forest St. in Stoneham and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked or suspended license, speed greater than reasonable or proper, misc. motor vehicle equipment violations, resisting arrests, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Tuesday, August 25
At 5:58 a.m., a caller reported that his ex-girlfriend was sleeping in the back of his SUV. She was sent on her way.
At 12:44 p.m., a woman called concerned about her father sabotaging her career. Police stated that it was not a criminal matter and that the caller and the father lived outside Wakefield. She was advised to call the Lynnfield Police Department if anything criminal happened.
At 8:09 p.m., police arrested Edward D. Frosca, 29, of 15 Crescent St., #1 in Wakefield on multiple warrants.
At 11:50 p.m., there were multiple calls about an erratic go-cart in the area of Water and Farm Streets.
Wednesday, August 26
At 3:46 p.m., a bike was reported stolen on Main Street.
At 11:35 p.m., there was a group of loud youths playing in a backyard on Salem Street. They were sent inside for the night.
Thursday, August 27
At 5:38 p.m., there was a report of a possible past breaking and entering on Pheasantwood Terrace.
At 8:14 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Avon Street.
Friday, August 28
At 9:38 a.m., there was a report of narcotics stolen from a home on Cedar Place.
At 11:25 a.m., a painting was reported missing on Main Street.
At 1:55 p.m., there was a report of two men in a vehicle attempting to entice a child into the car.
Saturday, August 29
At 12:16 p.m., a motor vehicle struck a phone pole on Pleasant Street.
At 11:29 a.m., scratch tickets were reported stolen from a store on Lowell Street.
At 3:55 p.m., there was a report of youths throwing water balloons at cars on Salem Street.
At 6:20 p.m., police arrested Mark B. Hatch, 53, of 24 Cedar St. in Wakefield and charged him with a violation of the open alcoholic container town bylaw.
