Police Collecting Toys for Tots

The Wakefield Police Department has kicked off it’s annual “Toys for Tots” campaign. Help the department by dropping off a new, unwrapped toy to the collection box in the lobby of the Wakefield Public Safety building at 1 Union St. in Wakefield. The lobby is open 24 hours a day.

The officers pictured; Sgt. Jon Burnham, Detective Kenneth Silva and Officer John Whaley have volunteered their efforts to aid in this important mission to help families in need during the holiday season.

All three of these officers served in the United States Marine Corp and the USMC leads the Toys for Tots mission every year.
