Police Crack Down on Local Massage Businesses
Two arrested after complaints of sex acts offered for money at two massage businesses.

A crack down on sexual acts for sale at local massage businesses resulted in the arrest of two women at separate Water Street massage parlors on Friday.
Wakefield detectives, along with several other local agencies, have been conducting an investigation on sex for sale at several local massage businesses after recent complaints from residents and town officials, according to Deputy Police Chief Craig Calabrese.
Shortly after noon on Friday, an undercover detective went into the Apple Spa at 113 Water Street.

When Nairu Zhang, 49, of 84 Medford St., #2F in Malden offered the undercover detective sexual contact for a fee, Zhang was arrested and charged with sexual conduct for a fee.
At about 1:30 p.m., an undercover detective went into Longer Living Bodyworks at 37 Water Street.

Fan Lu, 58, of 89 Pleasant St. in Malden offered sexual contact for money and was also arrested for sexual conduct for a fee.
“People have been calling about these kinds of incidents, and we are trying to crack down the best we can,” said Calabrese.
