Police: Loud Kids; Ringing Doorbells

Friday, Oct. 23

At 8:26 a.m., there was a report of a motor vehicle that had been abandoned for over a month on Cedar Street.

At 10:15 a.m., there was a report of landfill being dumped on someone’s property on Lovis Avenue.

At 12:14 p.m., someone reported seeing a vehicle sideswipe another vehicle as it was backing out of a parking lot on Water Street.

At 3:48 p.m., there was a report of youths touch a vehicle and ringing doorbells on Wicker Lane. Police spoke to the parents and advised the youths to stop the behavior.

Saturday, Oct. 24

At 1:23 p.m., there was a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle on New Salem Street.

At 2:34 p.m., there was a report of a sinkhole forming around a drain on Hancock Road.

At 3:47 p.m., there was a report of a larceny to a vehicle on Main Street.

At 8:43 p.m., there was a report of children in the area of Richardson Street being loud. The Halloween party for children was shut down for the evening.

Sunday, Oct. 25

At 6:17 p.m., there was a report of vandalism to lights in a yard on Heritage Lane.

At 6:21 p.m., a summons was issued for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on Water Street.
