Police: OUI Arrest; Drug Store Fight

Friday, Dec. 18

At 12:32 a.m., a man walked into the police station and said he had been threatened over the phone by his ex-girlfriend’s mother.

At 9:57 p.m., the staff at a pharmacy on Main Street reported that there were customers fighting in the store. The customers were separated.

Saturday, Dec. 19

At 4:25 p.m., there was a report of a credit card that was stolen on Farm Street.

At 4:51 p.m., there was a motor vehicle crash on Rte. 128 South.

At 8:12 p.m., there was an unoccupied van in a parking lot on Converse Street with a door left open. It was believed the open door was an oversight and the van was secured.

Sunday, Dec. 20

At 2 a.m., police arrested Benjamin Stanton Tomsyck, 24, of 10 Robert Street in Wakefield for operating under the influence of liquor.

At 7:45 a.m., there was a report of the larceny of a cellphone on North Avenue.

At 8:39 a.m., a caller reported that near Oakland Street and Old Nahant Road a transformer had exploded, accompanied by a deceased squirrel.

At 1:33 p.m., there was a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle on Wiley Place.

At 9:06 p.m., packages were reported stolen from a deck on Lantern Lane.
