Friday, Jan. 8

At 7:16 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at North and Yale Avenues.

At 7:56 a.m., the theft of a motor vehicle plate was reported on North Avenue.

At 10:42 a.m., there was a report of a suspicious person loitering in a back yard on Lowell Street.

At 3:12 p.m., a caller reported that there was a group of people next door at a vacant property on Mansion Road.

At 11:51 p.m., there was a call about a group of youths causing a disturbance on Main Street. They were gone by the time police arrived.

Saturday, Jan. 9

At 2:16 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on 95 Northbound near exit 42.

At 5:35 p.m., there was a report of a suspicious man wearing a camouflage pullover walking through a yard on Salem Street.

At 11:07 p.m., a caller reported that there were people on the vacant property on Mansion Road. They were sent on their way.

Sunday, Jan. 10

At 12:03 a.m., a caller reported hearing a gunshot on Grandview Avenue.

At 12:28 a.m., police arrested Jed Chandool, 22, of 45 Messinger Street in Mattapan for operating under the influence of liquor, second offense.

At 7:37 p.m., two women were stuck in an elevator on Audubon Road.

Monday, Jan. 11

At 5:57 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Main Street and was transported to Lahey Clinic.
