At 7:45 a.m., there was a report of wires cut to Christmas decorations on Lowell Street.
At 9:01 a.m., someone walked into the police station to report a stolen violin.
At 12:41 p.m., a car on Millbrook Lane backed into a plastic fence, knocking out several pickets.
Thursday, Dec. 10
At 12:30 a.m., there was a report of two men fighting on Richardson Avenue. Both men were spoken to and peace was restored.
At 2:07 a.m., police arrested Nathan R. Covell, 28, of 111 Ravenswood Road in Waltham and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, possession of an open container of liquor in a vehicle, and failure to stop.
At 1:07 p.m., a caller reported seeing a post on Facebook showing neoNazis possibly making bombs behind a convenience store. Police found no evidence to support the claim.
