Police: Spooky Decorations; I Won't Be Nice Again

Friday, Dec. 11

At 8:06 a.m., a caller reported that a contractor refused to move his flatbed truck at Chestnut Street and Ludlow Avenue. The contractor was paving a driveway and was going to move the truck within 30 minutes.

At 9:11 a.m., the general manager of a hotel on Audubon Road reported possible drug activity in the parking lot.

At 11:01 a.m., there was a minor motor vehicle accident on Salem Street.

At 11:38 a.m., a passing motorist on Vernon Street reported seeing a human skull on the side of the road. It was a Halloween decoration that had been discarded.

At 12:20 p.m., a woman reported a sanitation worker acting suspiciously around her property. She said he walked her barrels up her driveway and put them beside her house and that it made her uncomfortable. The employee said he was only trying to be nice and would not do it again.

At 8:36 p.m., a woman requested to speak to an officer regarding a dispute over a cat. The matter was resolved.

Saturday, Dec. 12

At 1:14 a.m., a caller reported that her husband got off the commuter rail at Greenwood Station and he was drunk.

At 2:57 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Albion Street.

At 10:32 p.m., a caller reported that two teenagers were keying his car on Main Street.

Sunday, Dec. 13

At 1:36 a.m., a man walked into the police station and reported that he had been assaulted. A summons for assault and battery was issued for a Wakefield man.
