Sunday, July 19
At 11:04 a.m, there were multiple calls about a woman yelling at cars on North Avenue. Police sent the woman on her way and told her she can’t be yelling at cars.
At 2:11 p.m., police arrested Lisa A. Merritt, 52, of 34 Armory St. in Wakefield and charged her with operating under the influence of liquor, failure to stop for police, leaving the scene of property damage, a red light/stop sign violation, and operating a motor vehicle to endanger.
