Monday, Sept. 21

At 10:57 a.m., there was a report of water pouring out of a washing machine on Lake Street.

At 2:47 p.m., a past hit and run accident was reported on Centre Street.

At 4:13 p.m., there was a report of a possible road rage incident on Bay State Road.

At 8:28 p.m., an intoxicated man was placed in protective custody on Mountain Avenue.

Tuesday, Sept. 22

At 10:36 a.m., a man who was panhandling was sent on his way on Lafayette Street.

At 1:02 p.m., a Salem Street resident reported that his garden was being vandalized.

At 2:11 p.m., a caller reported suspicious activity on Melrose Avenue. A vehicle parked on the side of the road and the driver went into the woods and came back with bags that he put in the trunk. Detectives were notified.

At 2:43 p.m., several youths were smashing a back brace into bank safety deposit boxes in the Main Street area. The youths were spoken to about their behavior and sent on their way.

At 4:20 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on North Avenue.

At 7:43 p.m., there was a report of a group of youths causing a disturbance on Spaulding Street. A Boy Scout group was working on a project.

Wednesday, Sept. 23

At 8:36 a.m., there was a past breaking and entering reported on Farm Street.

At 10:44 a.m., police arrested Daniel Vincent Malonson, 35, of 94 Parker Road, #3D in Wakefield on warrants as a courtesy for the Saugus Police Department.

At 9:21 p.m., there was a report of a man yelling in front of the library. He was sent on his way.

Thursday, Sept. 24

At 12:46 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Audobon Street.

At 4:24 p.m., there was a report of youths trespassing on Mansion Road.

At 4:55 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on New Salem Street.
