Police: Where Are My Trousers?; Fireworks

Friday, Sept. 18

At 12:05 a.m., there was a report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked in Emerson Street. Police stated the car was parked legally and did not appear to be suspicious.

At 9:47 a.m., a witness to a criminal case on Main Street reported witness intimidation.

At 10:56 a.m., there was a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle on Main Street.

At 12 p.m., there was a minor motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

At 2:45 p.m., there was a minor motor vehicle accident on Hemlock Road.

Saturday, Sept. 19

At 2:31 p.m., there was a report of a workplace disturbance on North Avenue.

At 4:38 p.m., there was a report of shoplifting on Broadway.

At 7:51 p.m., there was a fireworks complaint on Chestnut Street. Police were unable to locate anyone using fireworks.

At 9:42 p.m., there was a fireworks complaint on Robert Street.

Sunday, Sept. 20

At 2:20 a.m., someone was using a Bobcat to move gravel on Main Street. The operator was asked to stop.

At 8:54 a.m., a caller reported that his trousers were missing from his hotel room. The caller thought he was calling housekeeping and did not need police assistance to locate the wayward trousers.

At 5:08 p.m., there was a report of a child screaming for help on Fosters Lane. Police found a child who had scraped his knee and was crying. His parents were giving him first aid.
