Rain Rain Go Away: Postponements Plague Wakefield Sports
It's only Tuesday, but what seems like a never-ending spate of rains storms has wreaked havoc on the Wakefield High School sports schedule this week.

According to NECN meteorologist Matt Noyes, this spring has been the wettest in Massachusetts history with more than 15 inches of rain. And while that may be exciting for fans of weather-related statistics, for Wakefield High School athletes and fans, it's been more of a wet blanket.
With downpours passing through the area on Monday, the Warriors' softball game at Watertown was rescheduled to today. But with more rain forecast, that game has been postponed again and is now TBA. Boys and girls tennis was also postponed yesterday, and along with boys and girls tennis today against Watertown and Melrose, is still TBA.
Other games that have been postponed today include boys and girls track against Melrose, which has been rescheduled to Thursday, and varsity and JV baseball vs. Watertown, which will be played on Saturday.
