Rock For Galvin Concert Features Principal's, Students' Bands
Concert to raise funds for the five middle school students headed to Washington D.C. this spring for the Junior National Academic Championship.

A group of Galvin Middle School students are headed to Washington D.C. this spring to compete in the Junior National Academic Championship – and a concert featuring members of the school community is going to help them get there.
The Rock for Galvin concert on Wednesday, March 27th from 7 to 9 p.m. in the school auditorium features two bands – The Moonlighters, with Principal Mark Bedrosian. Then, it’s the 21st Century Fugitives, who were mentioned last fall in this article on Wakefield Patch while they were trying to win a $5,000 for their school’s music department. The band plays classic hard rock songs, some originals (video attached to article) and more.
Keyboard player Jackson Kehoe is one of the five students who will be headed to the championship event in Washington.
Admission to the concert is $5 at the door.
