The Room to Write at Wakefield Farmers Market

Stop by our table at Wakefield Farmers Market to ask questions, learn about upcoming events or to offer a friendly, "Hello!"

The Room to Write is this week's nonprofit guest at Wakefield Farmers Market. We are looking forward to meeting and speaking with you! Stop by our table to find out about our critique group, our meet and greets, our youth newspaper club at the Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield, our television series in collaboration with WCAT, and some new senior writing programs we are planning.

Our next quarterly Writers and Illustrators Meet & Greet event will be on Monday, September 23rd at Wahlburgers in Lynnfield from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The theme will be marketing yourself as an artist or writer and the business side of being an artist of any sort. Come ask us about it.
Our Mission: To provide those who want to write, love to write, and need to write with a quiet, communal and supportive space within which they are able to write. The Room to Write connects and supports writers of all ages, abilities and means by providing physical space where writers are able to work and build community along with the structured programming and support individuals need in order to express themselves more effectively for academic, professional and creative purposes.
Hope to see you at the market (located at Hall Park on North Ave in Wakefield by the lake) between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm!
