UPDATE: Three-Vehicle Crash on Rte. 128 North Wakefield Cleared

WAKEFIELD, MA—A three-vehicle crash blocked the right lane of Rte. 128 North at exit 39 in Wakefield during the Friday afternoon commute.

State police told Patch that while two of the drivers were able to drive away from the accident, the third vehicle was leaking fluid and was forced to call AAA. No one was injured during the accident.

TTN Boston reported that the accident caused delays of nearly 40 minutes during the time that the right lane was blocked.
