Salem Street Paving Begin This Week In Wakefield

Beginning Tuesday, May 14, paving operations will take place on Salem Street (Vernon to New Salem). On-street parking will be restricted for the duration of the work. The roadway will be closed to through traffic at the Vernon Street and New Salem Street intersections. Please keep this in mind if your commute brings you through the area.Access to homes and businesses will be maintained to the maximum extent possible, however, residents may wish to give more time to enter/exit their neighborhoods during this roadwork.Learn more about Public Works projects on a webpage or on an interactive map.
