The Savings Bank donates to Wakefield’s American Cancer Society

The Savings Bank recently presented a donation to Wakefield’s American Cancer Society Relay for Life as sponsor of the Survivorship Dinner. Representatives of the Bank’s Relay for Life Team, the TSB Lifesavers, presented the donation to Relay for Life representatives during a recent gathering at the Bank. Taking part were (from left to right) team members Michelle Kelley, Head Teller of the Lakeside Office, and Debbie Young, Floating Branch Manager; Ally Houghton, Marketing Coordinator, The Savings Bank; Elaine Silva, Relay for Life Event Chair, Lead; Bill Brown, Event Leadership Team member; and team member Amy Walsh, Floating Branch Manager and the Relay for Life Registration and Survivorship Chair.

The Bank has been a participant and sponsor of Wakefield’s Relay for Life since the event began in 2000. In addition to sponsoring the dinner after the opening ceremonies, a team of Bank employees help serve dinner to the survivors and their caregivers.
