Sleeping Beauty Tanglewood Marionettes (fundraiser 4 Food Pantry)

Award Winning Tanglewood Marionettes will present Sleeping Beauty on March 18th at 3 pm. Sponsored by the Wakefield Clergy Association.

Wakefield’s Interfaith Clergy Council invites area families to a special presention of Tanglewood Marionettes, Sleeping Beauty on Sunday, March 18th at 3pm.

This classic tale will appeal to all ages from 3 to 93. Sleeping Beauty begins in King Felix’s great hall with the celebration of Princess Aurora’s birth. In this retelling, a painted storybook opens to reveal each scene. Beautifully hand-crafted marionettes are brought to life by master puppeteer Peter Schaefer,

Tanglewood Marionettes have won UNIMA awards, puppetry’s highest honor for their productions of beautiful marionettes, colorful sets, integrated music and lighting as they bring their repertoire of classical tales to life. This wonderful production begins with a brief demonstration of the art of puppetry.

Sponsored by the Wakefield Interfaith Clergy Council to benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry. Tickets: will be available at the door beginning at 2:30. $10 each or 3 for $25 (additional ones $5) under 3 free. This project is supported in part by the Mass Cultural Council, Wakefield Chapter.
